3,14BAN at GreenTech Festival in Berlin: Inspiration, Eco Trends, and the Future of Sustainable Fashion

In May 2025, the team of the Ukrainian sustainable fashion brand 3,14BAN, led by co-founder Kateryna Uvarova, attended the GreenTech Festival in Berlin — one of the world’s most influential events dedicated to green technologies, sustainable development, business innovation, and eco-conscious fashion.

GreenTech Festival — A Global Platform for an Ecological Future

The Berlin GreenTech Festival gathered over 20,000 participants, including startups, corporations, fashion brands, climate activists, and scientists. Key topics included: environmental innovations, responsible technologies, circular economy, sustainable fashion, green energy, and climate neutrality.

For 3,14BAN, attending the festival was an opportunity to:

  1. explore cutting-edge eco-materials and zero-waste solutions,
  2. get acquainted with textile recycling technologies,
  3. network with representatives of leading European sustainable fashion brands,
  4. and observe how global fashion is transforming in response to climate challenges.

“We truly felt how deeply the concept of sustainability is integrated into global business models. It’s not just a trend — it’s a new ethic of design, production, and communication. And we are proud to be part of it,” — shares Kateryna Uvarova.

What We Saw and What We Take with Us

During the festival, the 3,14BAN team:

  1. attended lectures and exhibitions focused on sustainable fashion,
  2. learned about next-gen biomaterials like mycelium leather, seaweed-based fibers, and recycled polyester,
  3. studied the experience of brands already implementing carbon-neutral supply chains,
  4. and got inspired by practical applications of traceability technologies, smart tagging, and large-scale upcycling.

What’s Next for 3,14BAN After GreenTech Festival?

Attending GreenTech Festival was more than just an experience — it became a launchpad for new transformations. Based on the insights and connections gained, we are now initiating a series of internal and external changes.

We envision the future of Ukrainian fashion as honest, ecological, and global — and we are confidently moving in that direction.
