3,14BAN at the ISAR Ednannia Forum: Why It Matters to Be Where the Future of Civil Society Is Shaped
On December 5, we joined the ISAR Ednannia Forum — an event that brings together hundreds of organizations, initiatives, volunteers, and projects working for a stronger and more resilient Ukraine.This year, we were not just guests — we came with our upcycling mission, our products, and our belief that waste can and should become a resource.
What We Did at the Forum
Presented 3,14BAN products.Our upcycled banner and denim items sparked great interest among people who value responsible production and transparent material cycles. Many were surprised to discover how a used advertising banner can become a durable backpack, bag, laptop sleeve, or accessory.
Connected with representatives of NGOs, donors, and social initiatives.We spoke about circularity, about our workshops in Kharkiv and Lviv, and about how upcycling can become a tool for social impact.Most common questions we heard included:— How do you source materials?— How do you organize ethical production?— How can a social enterprise scale sustainably?
We shared our experience openly — because knowledge exchange strengthens the entire sector.
Met people who appreciate the story behind things.Every conversation was an opportunity to show how upcycling truly works. Not in theory — but in hands. People examined the texture of the banners, discovered the uniqueness of each piece, and saw how discarded materials gain a second life.
Why This Event Matters to Us
The ISAR Ednannia Forum is not a marketplace.It is a space where collaboration begins, where ideas meet, and where partnerships take shape.
For us, it reaffirmed that:
- responsible design is needed;
- social enterprises are important contributors to change;
- society is looking for honest brands with real values.
We left the Forum with new contacts, new opportunities, and a stronger belief that our work matters — for the industry and for the country.
We are grateful to everyone who stopped by, talked to us, listened, asked questions, and purchased our products.
You help us continue our mission — turning waste into value and shaping a culture of responsible consumption.
