3,14BAN brand at the forum “Business Wave: Connect & Grow” - when fashion speaks of courage
This week, we — the 3,14BAN team — had the honor of taking part in an event that brought together entrepreneurs, mentors, grant providers, and changemakers of the Ukrainian small business landscape — the “Business Wave: Connect & Grow” forum.
The organizers — Lviv Regional Employment Partnership “OPLICH” in collaboration with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in Ukraine — created a space of inspiration, support, and powerful networking.
📍 3,14BAN at the Entrepreneurs’ FairOur brand showcased its upcycled accessories and garments at the small business fair, where participants could see, try on, and purchase our items made from repurposed advertising banners. We were happy to introduce visitors to our values — sustainable production, creativity at the intersection of ethics and design, and our mission: to prove that fashion in Ukraine can be created without harming the planet.
It was especially moving to hear stories from our booth’s visitors about how upcycling inspires them to make changes — in consumption, in attitude toward things, and in how they define “value.”
✨ 3,14BAN Runway at the Forum’s Grand FinaleTo close the event, we took part in a designer runway show, where we presented our pieces on the catwalk. The models were participants of the forum themselves — people who are building businesses and whose presence symbolized strength, resilience, and belief in growth.
It meant a lot to us to see our pieces worn by real people — not in a traditional fashion shoot, but in a living, breathing moment of shared energy.
Each 3,14BAN item that hit the runway told a story of a second chance — for the material, for the idea, and for the business behind it.
💬 Reflections on the EventFor us, participating in “Business Wave: Connect & Grow” was not only a professional experience but a confirmation that Ukrainian creative business has a growing demand for sustainability, ethics, and collaboration. We return from the forum with new contacts, ideas, and a strong sense of community support.
We sincerely thank the organizers, project partners, and everyone who visited our booth, asked questions, tried on, took photos, and bought our products — you inspire us to keep creating.
